McKees Rocks will be provided with the 70 designation. There will be a few routes that would serve for this community. With that said, there will be 3 routes with only one of them being a primary route. The routes are as follows:
- 701W: Kennedy
- 702W: West Park
- W701: McCoy
701W: Kennedy
The 701W: Kennedy will replace the 20: Kennedy, however the inbound destination will be McKees Rocks Plaza. For those that would need to go to Downtown will board the W701: McCoy. This service will allow for a more flexible routing, and designed to meet the local needs of those in Kennedy Township.
702W: West Park
The 702W: West Park will replace the 24: West Park with the exception of not serving Downtown. With that in mind, the 702W: West Park will terminate at McKees Rocks Plaza. From there, the rider will need to board the W701: McCoy to go to Downtown.
W701: McCoy
The W701: McCoy will have some adjustments made to the route. The W701: McCoy will go to McKees Rocks Plaza to connect with the 701W: Kennedy, and 702W: West Park. Some people might say that it would make more sense to have all three routes as primary routes, but the goal is to consolidate, and sacrifices have to be made. The W701: McCoy was chosen as it was the shortest route, and therefore make the most sense for it to be a primary route. From McKees Rocks Plaza, a rider can choose to transfer to any of the other two routes in this community.
