Bridgeville

Bridggeville will have a few routes, serving, and therefore will be given the designation of 75. There will be a few routes to operate for within Bridgeville including a connector route that will be new for ACT. The following routes will be provided for:

  • 75: Bridgeville Connector
  • 751S: Bower Hill
  • W75: Bridgeville Flyer
  • W751: Bridgeville
  • W752: Greentree

75: Bridgeville Connector

The 75: Bridgeville Connector is a new route intended on serving the immediate residential population of Bridgeville, and connect them connect them to the closest shopping center. From there, the rider can do their shopping and connect with the various routes available. This will be a vital point with the community, and will make it easier for people in the residential parts of Bridgeville to rely on their automobile less than they probably do now.

751S: Bower Hill

The 751S: Bower Hill will replace the 41: Bower Hill. There will be some adjustment though. The 751S: Bower Hill will terminate in South Hills Junction. From the South Hills Junction, there would be a number of routes that would serve to come into Downtown. This is intended to reduce the number of primary routes going into Downtown Pittsburgh, and will hopefully give incentive for Pittsburgh to work a better routing system for within Downtown.

W75: Bridgeville Flyer

The W75: Bridgeville Flyer will function much like the current G31: Bridgeville Flyer, however – both time slots of the route will serve in both directions. This means one could board the W75: Bridgeville Flyer into Bridgeville to go to Downtown in the afternoon, and someone could leave for Bridgeville from within Downtown to go back. If need be, the rider can transfer to the 75: Bridgeville Connector.

W751: Bridgeville

The W751: Bridgeville will service as the 31: Bridgeville in its entirety with exception of the Downtown routing which will likely be changed to serve all Western routes. This will include providing service in West End and Carnegie. This will likely be a more direct route to Bridgeville than the W752: Greentree.

W752: Greentree

The W752: Greentree will replace the 38G: Greentree. Under PRT?, the 38 has two branches. Under ACT, these will be two separate routes. Since the W752: Greentree will connect with Bridgeville, it would be among the 75 routes, and designation – therefore providing more noticeable options for Bridgeville.
