North Fayette

North Fayette will have 2 routes serving, and will be given the designation of 74. Right now, there is just the 29: Robinson, however there will be some splitting to allow a route to serve North Fayette, Robinson Town Center, and the Mall at Robinson. While the primary route will just serve Robinson Town Center. This could be a disadvantage which will be why the secondary route will exist. The routes are as follows:

  • 741W: Robinson
  • W741: North Fayette

741W: Robinson

The 741W: Robinson will not replace the 29: Robinson, however the 741W: Robinson will be designed in such a manner where it will provide riders in North Fayette with options in Robinson Township. This is especially good for those without an automobile that would need to connect with shopping. Whereas the W741: North Fayette will only connect with Robinson Town Center, the 741W: Robinson will also connect with the Mall at Robinson, therefore providing for more options for the communities that the 741W: Robinson serves.

W741: North Fayette

The W741: North Fayette will operate just like the 29: Robinson will. However, there is a change with most Western routes when entering Downtown. This is simple and to the point. Technically, the W741: North Fayette could have terminated at the Crafton Station within the West Busway, and I did consider this option, but I also know there is a college, and this might have been harder for students to go from Town to CCAC-West. With that said, the W741: North Fayette will remain as a primary route.
