This section will go into details of the communities that would be served by the western routes. As noted, the western communities are the smallest, and tends to get neglected by PRT?. Under ACT, there will be fewer primary routes, but there will be more options. One example, is the 1W: East Busway – Oakland. Anyone living along the West Busway will have a single route to serve Oakland. With that said, a goal will be to try to move secondary routes to the West Busway therefore reducing the number of primary routes that would enter Downtown.
